Chris Brown annihilated his baby mama in custody court … she lost so bad the judge ordered her to pay Chris back for the attorney fees he fronted her.0524-chris-brown-royalty11-1

Sources connected to Chris tell us, Nia Guzman struck out on every single request regarding custody of 2-year-old Royalty. Nia wanted full custody — DENIED. She wanted Chris to have monitored visitation — DENIED. She wanted to deny Chris’ mom the right to see the kid — DENIED. She wanted Chris to submit to drug tests — DENIED.

The judge maintained the status quo — joint custody. Chris continues to get Royalty 12 days a month.

When Nia filed her legal docs asking for a change in custody the judge ordered Chris to pay her $20k so she could afford a lawyer. But she lost so hard, the judge said Nia wasn’t entitled to the money and gave Chris a credit.

There was supposed to be a separate hearing on child support. Nia is currently getting $2,500 a month from Chris but she wanted nearly $16k. Nia has now dismissed her support petition.

Serena Williams is going for her fifth gold at the Olympics, but in our opinion, she’s already won.

That’s because Williams, the No. 1 woman’s tennis player in the world as well as a part-time Beyonce cameo-maker, fashion designer and more, just slayed her SELF magazine cover.

For the magazine’s newest issue, Williams sports a bra-top and high-waisted bikini bottom with sunkissed skin and beachy hair.

“This is my blood,” she said to SELF. “I live for this and have for the last 32 years. When I step out on the court, you’re going to get all of me.”

Williams first made her Olympic debut in 2000 with her doubles partner, sister Venus. She then made appearance at every Olympic game after.

While the 34-year old is still hitting the court, she’s also clapping back at haters who’ve shamed her for her body.

“I love my body, and I would never change anything about it,” she said. “I’m not asking you to like my body. I’m just asking you to let me be me. Because I’m going to influence a girl who does look like me, and I want her to feel good about herself.”

And with that comment, she’s already slayed the game.

Mary J. Blige Confirms Divorce Rumors: “There Is A Divine Plan And A Reason For Everything”

Mary J. Blige isn’t keeping the public guessing after rumors of her impending divorce to husband and longtime manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs made headlines yesterday (July 28).

A member of the R&B veteran’s camp released a statement to People to confirm the news that Blige’s marriage has run its course after 13 years. “Ms. Blige is saddened to say it is true that she has filed for divorce, saying sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would,” the rep said. “But, there is a divine plan and a reason for everything.” Blige has reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the source of her divorce and has pursued termination of spousal support.

In the midst of finalizing her divorce, the singer is working on an album set to debut later this year and has plans to launch a world tour as well. “She thanks and appreciates her fans for their support and love through this very difficult emotional time,” the statement continued.

No word on if Mary will dish out details of her breakup in her new music, but if it’s in line with her catalogue of hit records, fans may have the opportunity to pull additional insight from the Queen of Hip Hop Soul then.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Wore Matching Gucci Dresses in Paris

Matching with your mom can be totally embarrassing — but not when your mom is a queen and her name is Beyoncé.

On a recent trip to Paris, the Lemonade artist and her daughter, Blue Ivy, staged a photo shoot together on a balcony with the Eiffel Tower in the background wearing dresses in the same flower-and-bee print. Both both dresses are by Gucci. Beyoncé’s turquoise piece with tiered ruffle sleeves was paired with a black collar brooch, cat-eye frames, a hot pink envelope clutch, and open-toed metallic pink heels. The singer’s 4-year-old mini-me, on the other hand, kept her accessorizing simple with a pink cat-ears headband and flat leather-and-neon sandals.

Jay Z was also with his family on the getaway, which included a candlelit dinner overlooking the illuminated city, a riverboat trip, convertible cruising, and shopping — which all took place in between stops on the European leg of Beyoncé’s Formation world tour.

Bey and Blue have actually matched in the past. In a photo the “Drunk in Love” singer shared from the archives on her website, the mother-daughter pair are pictured in black and white, wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana frocks.

Though, it should be noted, that the Carters’ favorite brand of the moment appears to be Gucci. Just last week, Beyoncé’s sister Solange Knowles shared two posts on Instagram of Blue in a hot pink ruffle dress from the Italian label with a light blue floral bolero. “Gucci campaigns can’t even touch her w a pinky toe,” Solange shared in the caption, also noting that the toddler “does her OWN photo edits/selections … as she should.”

CNN Is Launching A Multi Platform Operation in Nigeria

CNN is establishing a multi-platform operation in Lagos, Nigeria. Launching specifically in Lagos, the operation is designed to increase news coverage of Africa and give the network a strong digital presence on the continent.

According to Deborah Rayner, an SVP for news gathering at CNN International, Nigerian native Stephanie Busari will lead the operation. “This is a truly integrated role, and one that underlines CNN’s commitment to both Nigeria and Africa as a whole,” Rayner began. “Stephanie will work across our platforms on both news and feature content.  In particular, she will head CNN’s Africa content across digital – responding to breaking news and managing our Africa features projects.  She will also be central to CNN International’s coverage of the continent on television.”

Busari, serving as supervising producer and first responder for all platforms, says she’s proud to be a part of the expansion. “To return to Nigeria at such an important time in the country’s history is a proud and exciting moment for me,” Busari said. “This is such a vibrant country, full of possibilities, and as well as my broader remit looking at Africa as a whole this role will be about putting the many sides of Nigeria itself into sharper relief for the world.”

Busari has been instrumental in some of Africa’s most important stories since she began working for the network in 2008, most notably on the coverage of the Missing Chibok girls.

Father and daughter, Will and Willow Smith shines at Chanel Fashion Show – amazing photos

Okay, nothing embarrassing or secret about it. Willow and her dad are clearly besties and we love everything about it.
Okay, nothing embarrassing or secret about it. Willow and her dad are clearly besties and we love everything about it.

Will and daughter Willow Smith share more than just a last name (and almost identical first names). They both have a ton of style, charisma, and confidence that makes them completely delightful to watch perform in any capacity. They’re fun to watch by themselves but, TBH, they’re heart-warmingly adorable when they’re together.

Luckily for all of us, they recently attended a Chanel fashion show (which Willow will be a new face for) together. Willow has been pretty open about her passion for and interest in fashion (outside of, obviously, representing a major label). And it’s obvious her famous father is super supportive of her passion.

And from the moment they arrived, they basically stole the show. Both opted for a monochromatic look, with Willow matching her dad’s black colors with some killer shades. When she took them off, she had some playful, matching, blue-teal eyeshadow that made her look go from “amazing” to “totally on-point.”

Basically these two look like they had the most fun ever together and are absolutely infectious in their happiness in being around each other.

We would like to formally request lots more father/daughter outings for these famous Smiths in the future so that we may all revel in their amazing relationship. Please and thank you.

Jermaine Jackson’s Wife Halmid Rashid Explains Reason for Divorce: ‘Our Lives Would Be Better and More Productive If We Were Not Married’

0623-jermaine-jackson-halima-rashid-tmz-getty-6

Halima Rashid is speaking out about her decision to divorce Jermaine Jackson. “With a great amount of sorrow and regret, I today announce that I am filing for divorce from Jermaine Jackson,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “We have enjoyed many good times during our marriage of nearly 12 years, but we have reached a point where our lives would be better and more productive if we are not married. I respect and care for Jermaine and his legendary family, and feel blessed to have been a part of the Jacksons.”

She continues, “At this time, I ask that our friends, family members and the media respect the difficulty of this decision and allow us privacy as we move on with our lives. Thank you very much.”  Rashid, 46, filed court documents on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to divorce papers obtained by PEOPLE.

The pair wed in August 2004, and Rashid cites Nov. 28, 2015 as the date of separation.  While the former couple does not have children together, Rashid is requesting spousal support. Jackson’s Twitter account has been silent since Wednesday. A rep for Jackson, 61, did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Lupita Nyong’o Claps Back at ‘Vogue’ for Saying Audrey Hepburn Inspired Her Met Gala Hair

Lupita Nyong’o is clapping back at Vogue for comparing her hair to Audrey Hepburn’s.

At Monday night’s Met Gala, the always stunning Nyong’o walked the red carpet in a breathtaking sequined gown by Calvin Klein – but it was her gravity-defying hair that really got people talking.

On the red carpet, the “12 Years A Slave” star told Vogue that the updo was inspired by “the sculptural hairdos from all around the continent,” and that it was also a nod to Nina Simone.

Shortly after the gala, Vogue posted a story on their website called “Is Lupita Nyong’o the New Audrey Hepburn? Celebrating the Star’s Met Gala Hair.”

While the story does mention that Nyong’o cited influences “ranging from The Matrix to Nina Simone,” it heavily hinges on the comparison between Nyong’o’s Met Gala hair and the hairstyle Audrey Hepburn donned in a 1963 Vogue shoot.

Iconic though the two actresses may be, the latter wasn't the intended reference for the very cool updo Nyong'o sported at Monday's Met Gala, as Vogue suggested. Noting that the Eclipsed actor cited Nina Simone as one of the inspirations behind her updo, the fashion magazine attributed her hair to a much less likely source. "The sculptural style is also reminiscent of the updo Audrey Hepburn sported in a 1963 Vogue shoot with Bert Stern," the article reads.

“The sculptural style is also reminiscent of the updo Audrey Hepburn (left)  sported in a 1963 Vogue shoot with Bert Stern,” the article reads. Given white culture’s tendency toward appropriation, it seems more likely that Hepburn’s coif borrowed from precisely these “distinctly African styles.” Regardless, Nyong’o quickly and politely corrected the misattribution in an Instagrammed slideshow of her real hair influences.

Lady Gaga goes “pantsless” on the Met Gala red carpet

Leave it to Gaga to make jaws drop. Granted, it wasn’t a meat dress. And she didn’t arrive in an egg. But she did eschew pants, and a dress on the Met gala red carpet, instead opting for a metallic body suit topped by a matching bolero.

The kicker, and we do mean kicker: Her 10-inch-plus platform boots.

Ghanaian crowned first ‘Miss Africa Continent’

Ghanaian, Rebecca Asamoah was crowned the first ‘Miss Africa Continent’.

Johannesburg (AFP) – Barefoot, wearing traditional costumes including animal hide skirts and elaborately beaded headdresses, the contestants strutted the stage before Ghanaian Rebecca Asamoah was crowned the first ‘Miss Africa Continent’.

The 24-year-old dental hygienist beat 11 finalists drawn from an original list of 40 contestants from across the continent in the inaugural pageant at Johannesburg’s Gold Reef City casino on Saturday night.

Runner-up was Michelo Malambo of Zambia, while South Africa’s Jemimah Kandimiri was placed third.

The swimsuit contest was also a departure from the beauty contest norm, with contestants wearing black t-shirts and tight shorts while dancing barefoot to music such as “Africa” by Mali’s legendary afro-pop musician Salif Keita.

The pageant is the brain child of South African film producer Neo Mashishi, who says it aims to empower young African women.

“This is the first ever Miss Africa Continent,” said Mashishi, adding that it had been five years in the making.

“This is about Africa, we are selling Africa to the world, and we are proud to be Africa”.

“The way everything was done was African, we didn’t emulate anything from Miss Universe, or Miss World,” he said.

Asamoah, who wore braids, entered the stage in a traditional Ghanaian Ashanti gold-coloured beaded crown and then returned in a evening dress made from the country’s trademark kente cloth.

She walked away with a grant to study business management at Monash university in Johannesburg.

Runner up in the 2015 Miss Ghana competition, Asamoah said she wanted to see young people help uplift the continent.

“There are a lot of things to be fixed in Africa — water, education, environmental issues,” she told AFP.

“My main concern is the empowerment of youths… so we can work hand in hand and put our continent in the best place it should be.”

In the weeks running up to the event, the 12 finalists embarked on a series of pre-pageant activities, including showing off their culinary skills in cooking traditional meals from their native countries.

Ultimately, the organisers hope to involve the continental body, the African Union, “so our winner can play a role in uplifting Africa”and spearhead campaigns to fight Africa’s woes such as malaria, poverty and xenophobia.
