The pastor of a Houston-based nondenominational church, Voice of Evangelism International, Reverend Dr. Emeka Agwu has declared a season of prayers in the Nigerian community to avoid what he called the spell of “unpleasant spirit” sprawling deaths and fatal diseases among the children of God.

At a Sunday Service late in August, and a Labor Day Service hosted by the church September 4, 2016, the prophet, Pastor Agwu had predicted two surprise deaths of popular individuals in the Houston Nigerian community, but urged for ceaseless prayers to avoid more of such. He told our reporters after the service that those were “written messages and must come to pass in the month September.” “It is my duty to relay them as they come, and we must leave the rest for God” he said.

Exactly two week after the prophetic pronouncements, the predictions occurred concurrently. As of September 17 after these prophecies all befell, Pastor Agwu, did not stop. He announced more messages; “I have a message for Nigerian Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Nurse Family Practitioners. God said we must put them in prayers now before we enter the year 2017; because the months of October and November would be a season of the unexpected; most of them I was revealed to, could be diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. I saw cancer eating deep in the circle of above mentioned individuals. We must set aside a three-day prayers for them,” he said.

He continued, “Then in our country Nigeria, I was revealed to, a big rally that will lead to a big riot, and lives and properties will be lost; The country will continue to be in our prayers because we have loved ones back home. God please save our country Nigeria from collapsing in Jesus Name.”

Pastor Agwu further encouraged Nigerians to pray with the following Bible Verses; Isaiah 65(17-24); Psalm 88; Genesis 5 (1-end); Revelation 21 (1-6); Psalm 91; Psalm 30. “God asked me not to keep quiet as a voice in the land and as a prophet, and this is why I am speaking out. But we must pray to win God’s favor against Satan. We have a God who can do all things at all times for nothing is impossible with him. God who can do what no power, spirit or human can do. God can take a harassed life and harness it for glory. God who gives hope to the hopeless, vision to the visionless and direction to the one who has no direction,” Reverend Agwu said.

The Voice of Evangelism International Ministry was established in 2006 as a nondenominational worship center.
